D51 Air Dryer | Operation

Air enters through the ½" NPT AIR IN Port. Compressed air passes through the cooler, and dual electric fans provide the cooling ambient air.

As the compressed air cools, moisture condenses out and is caught in the "cyclone" type trap which is built into the cooler.

Moisture automatically drains by bleeding a ½ CFM of compressed air through a ¼" plastic tube at the base of the trap. Dry compressed air exits through the ½" NPT AIR OUT port.

De-Icer for the Underhood VR70 Air Compressor System

The De-Icer is a 12-Volt insulated rope heater designed to work with the VR70 Underhood Air Compressor System.

The De-Icer prevents freezing of the system pressure line and regulator in cooler climates.

The De-Icer is ready to work at the flick of a switch.
