Education and/or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Knowledge of Word Processing software.

While performing the duties of this job, the Service Technician is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The Service Technician is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The Service Technician must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the Service Technician is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The Service Technician is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
We are a distributor of compressed air and vacuum pump systems who provides sales, parts and service to our customers. Our main goal is customer service, as stated below in our Mission Statement.
To provide our customers with exceptional service, and also make available to them the finest offering of air compressors, vacuum pumps and related products. These factors will assure sufficient profit to fund the growth, improvement and continuity of the business. We will treat everyone with whom we deal in an honest, forthright, and Christian manner.
Our service technicians are allowed to work many overtime hours. Of course the workload varies, but on average many technicians can expect to work 6-10 overtime hours each week. Overtime is paid at 1½ times your regular rate... so that adds big dollars to your overall wage.
